Bellevue Sanctuary was built in 1735 and stands as one of the very first plantations on the island of Barbados. Nestled down a long private driveway, bordered by Bougainvillea, coconut and mahogany trees, you’ll find wild monkeys, polo ponies and rare black belly sheep sharing the 100 acres of expansive land that is Bellevue Plantation.

The sanctuary sits in the most spiritually aligned part of the island which offers great healing powers . The sanctuary sits on top of huge caverns which carry the islands fresh water supply from all the island . The countries entire water supply is generated from the caverns below , each large enough to sail a boat. The life line to this arid country which in turn creates the unique healing powers that the Sanctuary withholds.

Whilst here at the sanctuary you can take part in various wellness activities or simply read a book by the pool and get a massage in our spa, eat delicious fresh nutritional food and unwind, rest and rejuvenate.
